Patient Types: Varicose vein patients requiring procedural intervention.
Patient Ratios: This varies depending on the provider and whether or not it is a clinic day or procedure day.
Required Certifications: RN: BLS required; ACLS preferred
Education Required: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
Skills required:
- RN: Clinic experience preferred.
- Cardiology experience preferred with knowledge and understanding of vascular disease and treatments to include (Sclerotherapy, Laser Ablation, Phlebectomy). Understanding of vascular testing preferred. Ability to work independently and be very organized.
- Excellent communication skills and collaboration with team is a must.

- Nursing Manager (RN)

Charting System: Epic (required)
Floating: If the candidate has stress testing experience this could be a possibility.
Orientation: (facility and unit)
Facility per protocol and 3-4 days on unit side by side with nurse
Weekend rotation: no weekends
Will they be on call: No call
Holiday Expectations: Clinic is closed on 6 major holidays (New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas), Day after Thanksgiving is considered a Holiday
Approval of time off: Prefer contract extension to have a total of 13 weeks for any full week off
