Registered Nurse, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

Under the direction of the director/charge person, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care by making nursing assessments and diagnoses, formulates care plans based on the diagnoses, and implements and evaluates the plan of care specific to Cardiac Catheterization lab patients. Responsible for environment of care according to The Joint Commission standards. Responsible for the nursing care of the pre- and post-Cardiac Catheterization lab patient.

Education:

• Associate's degree

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Florida Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• ACLS

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:

• Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
