Registered Nurse

Title: RN Day/Eve
Location; Albany, MN
Duration- 8-13 weeks
Shift: Variable - Days; Variable - Evenings, 8 hr per day, 40 h a week
Job Description:

• Provide skilled nursing care within a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility.
• Assess and monitor the health status of residents, developing and implementing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and individualized resident care.
• Oversee and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for residents.
• Perform routine medical procedures and maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Monitor and address changes in residents' conditions promptly.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nursing principles and standards within a Long-Term Care setting.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Skills:

• Medication administration and management.
• Patient assessment and care planning.
• Coordination of care for residents.
• ADL assistance and support.
• Documentation of medical records.
• Compliance with regulatory standards.

Experience:

• Previous experience in Long-Term Care or a similar setting is preferred.
