Job Description Details:
Coordinates total patient nursing care for patients, participated in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standard for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Qualifications: Must have current, unencumbered R.N. license to practice in the State of Michigan; level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a minimum of two years of college level training in nursing, BSN preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; analytical ability to assess and evaluate patients condition and utilize the nursing process; interpersonal skills necessary to almost constantly communicate with patients, families, medical personnel and other members of the health care team; ability to work cooperatively within the framework of the nursing team; ability to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and stressful critical situations; ability to operate a computer.
