Registered Nurse

Adult Day Health Care of Madera is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for nursing services for participants. Responsible for: L.V.N., Program Aides assigned to the Nursing Department

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and supervise all nursing care services.
• Conducts initial nursing assessments of all participants.
• Monitors health problems and develops and implements nursing care plans.
• Monitors vital signs for each participant, including blood pressure, on a regular basis.
• Experience in working with adults and seniors in a multidisciplinary team.
• Provides health counseling to participants and their families on an individual and group basis.
• Develops and provides health related training to staff and families.
• Supervision of personal care given by LVNs and program aides.
• Provision of emergency care if needed.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current CA state license from the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Must have updated Physical and TB clearance.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

Compensation based on experience.

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm.
