Adult Day Health Care of Madera is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for nursing services for participants. Responsible for: L.V.N., Program Aides assigned to the Nursing Department
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement and supervise all nursing care services.
- Conducts initial nursing assessments of all participants.
- Monitors health problems and develops and implements nursing care plans.
- Monitors vital signs for each participant, including blood pressure, on a regular basis.
- Experience in working with adults and seniors in a multidisciplinary team.
- Provides health counseling to participants and their families on an individual and group basis.
- Develops and provides health related training to staff and families.
- Supervision of personal care given by LVNs and program aides.
- Provision of emergency care if needed.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current CA state license from the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Must have updated Physical and TB clearance.
- Valid CPR Certification.
- Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
- Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
Compensation based on experience.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm.
