Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS) is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian to over see kitchen operations for our campus in West Chester and Malvern PA.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am -4:30pm with flexibilty and some weekends (if necessary)
Everyday as a Registered Dietitian you will:
Oversee and Supervise daily food service/kitchen operations
Ensure daily sanitation procedures, preventive equipment maintenance, and Department of Health regulation are followed
Serves as Registered Dietitian and ensures dietetic oversight of meal planning and compliance.
Order and account for inventory

ASCEND - Career Accelerator Program
Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. A primary focus throughout the program is the philosophy of Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS), a program-wide system of care that promotes and rewards positive behaviors, and prevents negative behaviors, to create safe, supportive living environments. Each year, more than 1,000 children and adolescents receive specialized care, in the environment best suited to the unique challenges they face, all with the goal of providing each child with the academic, social, emotional and life skills needed to flourish in their home community.

Qualifications
Education:Bachelor’s Degree in related field, certification as a Registered Dietitian in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and Chester County Food Handler’s Certification required.
Experience: Five years experience in food service management in an congregate setting. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communications experience/skills required. Proficient in the use and application of Microsoft Office software programs
Valid driver’s license must be maintained
