Matthew 25 is hiring a part-time, contracted Registered Dietitian to help our patients with their nutritional needs!
Matthew 25 AIDS Services is a non-profit healthcare clinic that specializes in the treatment of HIV/AIDS. We believe that nobody should face these diseases alone. Matthew 25 AIDS Services exists for the sole purposes of providing high quality services for those affected by HIV/AIDS. The successful candidate will share Matthew 25 AIDS Services, Inc.’s commitment to its mission, to support, educate, and treat those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Registered Dietitian will provide direct nutritional services to Matthew 25’s clients. They may explain nutrition issues to clients, assess the dietary and health needs of clients, develop meal plans for clients, gauge the effects of these meal plans, promote nutrition, and keep up to date on the latest research in nutritional and food sciences. The Registered Dietitian will effectively communicate and work in conjunction with staff involved in patient treatment and participate in case consultation and complete necessary documentation related to direct services provided.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in in human nutrition, food and nutrition, dietetics, food systems management, or an equivalent major course of study.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) through the Commission on Dietitian Registration (CDR) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
- Licensure as a dietitian with the Kentucky/Indiana Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists.
- Proven ability to work with and maintain confidential and sensitive client information.
- Experience working with diverse sexual/gender orientations, the homeless, substance users, and multiple-diagnosed individuals.
