We are seeking a skilled and dedicated RegisteredDental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about oral health and patient care.

```Responsibilities```
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, sealants, and other procedures covered under Montana Dental Hygiene license,
- Take high quality digital dental x-rays
-Administer local anesthetic as necessary for procedures.
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care
- Assist the dentist during exams and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques
```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health principles
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines for patient privacy
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Experience with dental imaging techniques
- Knowledge of dental/medical coding for accurate billing and insurance claims
- Excellent infection control practices to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft dental software system is a plus
-Local Anesthetic endorsement prefered
