Key Responsibilities

• Educate patients on oral health and provide instructions for proper dental care.
• Strictly adhere to infection control protocols and ensure the sterilization of instruments and equipment, following office policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA standards.
• Safeguard patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain dental equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and manage dental supplies inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Efficiently use dental resources to achieve optimal results.
• Accurately record patient medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment details.
• Assist the dentist during examinations, including charting diagnosed treatments and capturing intra-oral photos before dentist evaluations.
• Stay current in the field by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in relevant professional societies.
• Contribute to the attainment of patient satisfaction and office production goals by delivering efficient and exceptional patient service.
