Registered Dental Hygienist

We are a "High Tech" dental office, but always with a gentle touch. We utilize 5D Itero scanning, Cone beams, and dental lasers to give our patients the best of dental care. As a family practice serving patients aged 6 thru 106, we strive to give pain-free care in a professional, family-oriented environment. Our "tooth fairies" work together to ensure the best in patient experiences.
We are looking for an RDH to add to our growing team! We prefer at least five years of experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate (even a new graduate). Laser and anesthesia certifications are required. The star candidate also possesses a love for teeth and dentistry and wants to help grow our practice.

We are a general practice focusing on Invisalign, Sleep Medicine, Implants, and Cosmetics. We have a “scan every patient” policy. We just added facial aesthetics with Opus Plasma facial treatments…and of course, Botox! We use digital forms, text-to-pay, Itero scanning, and digital impressions, as well as In-office zirconia crowns, to give patients the best in dental care.

Patient Hours: Monday -Wednesday 7am- 6pm (split shift 10am - 6pm or 7am - 4pm); Thursday 7am-4pm, Fridays 7am - 2pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Welcome and seat the patient cheerfully.
• Prepare and properly set up treatment rooms for hygiene procedures.
• Review and update patient’s health history; chart progress, treatments, and home care compliance.
• Recognize early signs of periodontal disease; chart restorations and notate areas of concern.
• Develop and present treatment plans.
• Capture x-rays.
• Perform head, neck, and oral cancer exam.
• Use probes to examine gums to locate periodontal recessed gums and signs of gum disease.
• Communicate findings to patient and doctor.
• Work chair side with Dentist as needed, assist in hygiene examination.
• Schedule appropriate re-care appointments.
• Complete Care Calls.
• Assist in sterilization duties.
• Maintain hygiene hand pieces and instruments in good repair and sufficient supply.
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned work schedule and office policies.
• Must be able to comfortably and efficiently handle multiple deadlines and task assignments.
• Assist with Recare calls

SUCCESS POINTS:

• Previous experience in dental, a minimum of 5 years preferred. Front and Back office experience a plus.
• Dentrix knowledge a MUST
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION:

• Degree from an ADA accredited hygiene program
• Current Arizona licensure
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Anesthesia certification
• Laser Certification
• Nitrous Certification
