SalaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team at Picture Perfect Smiles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and patient education while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Assist the dentist during procedures as necessary
Experience:
- Proficiency in dental office systems and software, such as Dentrix
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding related to dental procedures
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred
-Valid dental hyigene license in the State of AL
