We are seeking an RBT to work with a family in Yucaipa, CA- up to 30 hours/week
Balanced Behavior is a small, intimate company that prioritizes high quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct 1:1 services in the home or the clinic to help increase skills, create learning opportunities, and decrease maladaptive behaviors
- Follow behavior intervention plan to better understand a client’s needs and goals
- Work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect accurate data during session, and take detailed session notes once session has been completed
- Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents, and staff.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Implement appropriate teaching strategies and behavior modification approaches
Necessary Qualifications:
- Pass TB test and Criminal background check
- Minimum 6+ months Registered Behavior Technician experience required.
- Interest and commitment to the science of human behavior and the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment for individuals with special needs.
- Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem resolution experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and exercise sound judgment.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with co-workers and clients.
- Operate in a highly confidential manner.
- Ethical delivery of Applied Behavior Analysis interventions and demonstrate commitment to the mission & vision of Balanced Behavior.

- High School Diploma (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Be in enrolled in a College/University studying psychology, education, or special education or pursuing a degree in a related field (preferred)
- Able to lift 25+ Pounds
- Reliable Transportation
- Valid Driver’s License
- Available evenings up to 8 pm
- Be familiar with technology and understand how to use an iPad.
- Feel comfortable driving on the freeway to client homes.
- The ability to climb stairs in a client's home if needed.
- The ability to jump, run, or sit on the floor with a client.
Competitive Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour DOE and Competency across Behavior Analytic Strategies and Principles
