The Bi-Lingual Spanish Otsuka Connect, RN tasks include conducting Otsuka activities in English and/or Spanish depending on need and are as follows:
- Central contact point, supporting inquiries from healthcare professionals and support staff as well as continuing to support patients, their caregivers, and other stakeholders (prescribing team, pharmacies, etc.) and will be responsible for appropriately triaging inquiries.
- Manage inbound inquires (Phone, Email, Web) across multiple Otsuka program(s).
- Perform outbound calls as outlined by Otsuka processes (reactive and follow-up calls).
- Informing callers of distribution models for Otsuka products.
- Providing contact information for non-brand specific community resources.
- Share affordability options for Otsuka products.
- Triage appropriate cases to Otsuka field teams including, Patient Experience Liaisons, Account Managers, Health Science Associates, and other colleagues.
- Triage inbound calls to appropriate contact points (sample vendor, other call centers, etc.).
- Document and escalate adverse events, product quality complaints and medical inquiries to appropriate third-party vendor.
- Help callers navigate Otsuka’s websites and tools (pharmacy finder, forms, etc.).
- Case management/coordination with internal teams.
- Receiving / discussing requests for product samples, validating recipients, and supporting PDMA compliance.
- Continuous learning of the health care landscape as it pertains to current concerns from a patient, caregiver, and professional stakeholder standpoint.
- Communicate with stakeholders via digital methods.
- Assist in training for new contract workers and Otsuka People on rotation through Otsuka Connect.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience with pharmaceutical business operations strongly preferred.
- 1 to 3 years call center experience (HIGHLY preferred)
- A current, active, unencumbered, Registered Nursing license in state of residence.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an RN.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing school.
