- Management of the Chicago Crisis Management underwriting team
- Focuses on new business production and account management
- Manages components of development, growth and profitability for book of business and/or assigned territory and drives accountability for underwriting production goals
- Underwriting of all Crisis Management Products:
- Product Contamination Insurance
- Product Recall Insurance
- Restaurant Foodborne Illness Insurance
- Corporate Kidnap, Ransom and Extortion
- Workplace and Political Violence Response Insurance
- Pipeline tracking
- Forecasting of production
- Budgeting
- Tracking rate movements within portfolio
- Tracking loss activity within portfolio
- Producer development and management
- Travels to key markets/accounts and remains highly visible in the marketplace
- Development and revision of products, marketing materials, underwriting templates
- Broker engagement and cultivation of new broker relationships
- Cross marketing with other Starr products
- Provide data to actuarial, claims,finance as requested
- 4-year degree in business administration, insurance, food safety & quality, engineering/science, or similar
- 8-years' commercial insurance experience, underwriting preferred
- 5-years' underwriting experience of Crisis Management or similar products
- Proven track record in managing an insurance portfolio
- Developed relationships with whole-sale and retail brokers
