Regional Talent Acquisition Manager 

The Regional Talent Acquisition Manager will oversee the recruiting and on-boarding function for assigned region for our Sort Centers and Branches. This will include supporting a strategic Talent Acquisition plan for multiple states at one time and will assist in having a hands-on approach in leading a team. This position will own the oversight of accuracy in the onboarding systems for all new hires. They will also remotely manage the Talent Acquisition team in the region as well as work closely with contracted RPO and MSP. This position interacts with employees, applicants, and various functional leaders as a strategic business partner and collaborative team member to ensure that the Talent Acquisition department's priorities are achieved with consistent excellence.

 

Some key aspects of the position:

  • Develop and manage recruitment processes to attract, retain and build top talent pipeline with Talent Acquisition team and contracted RPO for region
  • Monitor key recruiting metrics to identify and resolve challenges affecting recruiting and hiring processes.
  • Provides hiring management with creative solutions and strategies to fill positions timely, conducts weekly hiring calls with operations, streamlines communication from operations to RPO/MSP and Talent Acquisition team
  • Acts as a liaison between company department heads to anticipate and plan for future recruitment needs.
  • Educates and trains hiring management regarding recruitment processes, guidelines, applicant screening best practices, interviewing, etc.
  • Serves as subject matter expert for business in fields of recruitment, onboarding, employment branding, hiring and onboarding.
  • Develops and manages the Talent Acquisition team with onboarding experiences through established, standardized, and audited processes. This includes but is not limited to background compliance, adverse action notifications, I-9 compliance, and completion of all onboarding paperwork with operations new hires. Ensures HR recordkeeping meets Department of Labor, OFCCP, EEOC, etc. requirements.
  • Management and coaching a team of Talent Acquisition associates while setting team performance goals, metrics, timelines, and formal tracking processes of team's progress.
  • Provides status updates, reporting, and other information as needed to peers, supervisors, hiring managers and RPO.
  • Travels as needed to assist with onboarding of newly hired Talent Acquisition associates and assist with hiring events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or equivalent experience,
  • 5+ years Human Resource experience in Talent Acquisition and recruiting
  • 2+ years' experience managing Talent Acquisition or recruiting department
  • 2+ years' leadership experience (remote management experience a plus)
  • Possess strong relationship building, verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows applications: Word, Excel, HR Office and Org Plus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a remote or in an office environment and on a computer/phone most of the day. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Office equipment provided. Up to 20% Travel Required when business needs.
