  • Hiring Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 annualized
      • The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary

  • Responsible for delivery of Regional Retail Banking Program through Branch Management (includes Community Bank Presidents, Branch Managers, Branch Supervisors, and Treasury Management Officers). Leads all activities associated with Retail Banking, including coaching Branch Supervisors; publication of an adherence to policies and procedures; sales and service program implementation and sustainability; branch, banker, and customer profitability; and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coaches, trains, and develops Branch Supervisors and Managers in subject Region to drive a successful, profitable and functional Retail Banking Department. This includes Branch Supervisor and Manager's responsibilities of managing sales and cross-sales reports, staff training and development, coaching for results, and profitability management, etc.
  • Directly or indirectly manages Branch Supervisors.
  • Partners with Regional President in hiring, training, development, coaching and mentoring, performance evaluation and disciplinary counseling of this staff.
  • Responsible for ensuring the training and development of Region Retail Banking staff, in concert with Retail Banking Plan as established by Senior Management.
  • Coordinates promotional efforts in Retail Banking in cooperation with Branch Supervisor and Marketing Officer.
  • Responsible for Retail Operations function, in cooperation with Retail Banking Program, Central Support, and Teller Operations.
  • Helps establish goals and objectives for Retail Staff for deposit and loan growth through cross sell and referrals.
  • Delivers quality of service according to established standards, to be measured by such sources and surveys, focus groups, and/or silent shopper programs.
  • Responsible for individuals operating in following functions: Teller, Universal Banker, Branch Coordinator, Branch Supervisor.
  • Maintains a current knowledge and compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements.
  • Maintains current knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking Regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position. Ensures that employees under direct supervision are informed of changes in applicable Regulations, laws and policies that impact them, and implement necessary training.
  • Ensures branch compliance by assisting branch staff with internal and external audits.
  • May have facilities management responsibility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position directly or indirectly supervises Branch Supervisors and Branch Managers.

Education and/or Experience

  • Preferred 6 - 10 years related operations experience and/or training including demonstrated sales coaching; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
