Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Field Sales Representative to join our passionate team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in beverage sales, particularly in coffee, and possess a proven track record in managing regional wholesale accounts. The primary responsibilities include strong Field Sales, overseeing sales in groceries, independent markets, and other relevant channels. The Regional Field Sales Representative, West Coast, will report directly to the Head of Sales, playing a key role in driving growth, building relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the assigned region.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with key accounts in groceries, independent markets, and other relevant sectors.
- Utilize strong beverage sales experience to drive product placement and brand visibility.
- Demonstrate expertise in the food & beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and direct store distribution (DSD) industries to effectively navigate and capitalize on market trends.
- Collaborate with our distribution networks to ensure optimal product availability and manage distribution logistics.
- Implement in-house retail activations to enhance brand awareness and drive sales at the local level.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the National Account Executive and Head of Sales on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Train and support distributor sales teams to enhance product knowledge and sales capabilities.
- Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years experience in Field Sales in the food and beverage industry, preferably in ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages, or CPG products.
- Strong background in beverage sales, with a focus on building and managing relationships with wholesale accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Distribution management experience is a plus.
- Must live in the Bay Area
- Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensation:
- Salary: $65k - $85k per year
- Bonus compensation if goals are met
