REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
Join our team of leaders in electrical power system maintenance, repair, testing & training. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to plan, direct and manage profitable sales growth of Shermco’s complete line of service offerings throughout the Houston Region.

Primary Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Leadership responsibility and accountability for managing the growth of profitable sales of the region and achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Uses Salesforce to drive and develop sales in region.
  • Manages and supports sales activities and customer service of customers and Shermco offices in the region.
  • Reviews and analyzes market to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates and develops effective sales strategies to accommodate and meet sales and profit goals of the region.
  • Collaborates with regional and corporate sales and production management to analyze, standardize, streamline and/or eliminate unprofitable services and products from sales offerings.
  • Represents Shermco at trade association meetings and conferences to promote company services and products.
  • Coordinates and communicates with other regions and divisions for cross-selling.
  • Strengthens the relationships with current and potential customer base throughout the region.
  • Other duties as assigned or identified to help Shermco be successful.
Minimum Qualifications: to qualify for consideration, you must meet each of the following minimum qualifications and requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline preferred; equivalent combination of experience education, and training may substitute.
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience; preference for persons with sales experience in a similar B2B company plus experience leading others.
  • Business proficiency using computer software including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and database navigation; experience with Microsoft CRM a plus.
  • Must be an effective leader with excellent interpersonal communication, employee coaching skills, ability to delegate, and effectively clarify expectations.
  • Residence Houston area, preferably close to Pearland.
  • Must be able to periodically travel overnight to support sales force, visit current and prospective customers, service centers, industry trade shows, and Corporate Headquarters.
  • Must be have and maintain a satisfactory background check and driving record, pre-employment drug and alcohol test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
