Under the general direction of the Deputy Director of Climate and Planning Programs, the Regional Resilience Planning and Implementation Grant Program is responsible for leading the development and implementation of planning and implementation grants. The incumbent will ensure coordination and alignment of this grant program with overall ICARP priorities. This position is a member of the OPR Climate Team, which works to integrate climate change into planning and investment decisions through the development of decision-support tools, actionable climate science, guidance, technical assistance, and grant programs.
The position is primarily in charge of overseeing the ICARP Regional Resilience Planning and Implementation Grant Program. The incumbent will manage the activities of professional staff responsible for the development and implementation efforts related to the ICARP Regional Resilience Planning and Implementation Grant Program.

Working Conditions
The positions at OPR may be eligible for telework with in-person attendance based on the operational needs of the position under Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the OPR Telework Policy and/or future program need.
All OPR employees must reside in California upon appointment.
OPR is located in Sacramento, directly across from the State Capitol.
