SalaryPosition Overview:
The Regional Political Coordinator (RPC) assists the Regional Political Directors and RNC State Directors and serves as a resource in the Political Department for Victory field teams. RPCs will directly report to the Director of Political Operations and Deputy Political Director.
Essential Functions:
Acts as a liaison from the RNC Political Department to the Victory Field program- Tracks all political activity in assigned region (election results, cash-on-hand figures, ballot initiatives, voter registration, state conventions, polling, political events, regional blogs and news, etc.)
- Helps track office leases and RNC HQ equipment out in the field
- Assists in preparing Political State Briefs for the Chairman or Co-Chair upon request
- Communicate with state parties to disseminate information from RNC HQ
- Performs administrative duties for the Regional Political Directors including scheduling and travel plans, as well as assisting with work expenses
- Available to staff RNC events or to be deployed for special elections or recounts
- Aides the Political Department by supplying information about offices, elected officials, local races,or other information specific to the region
- Helps create and maintain documents and presentations that are used on a regular basis by RPDs and Senior Political staff
