RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Interview and select candidates for openings, set goals for associates, assign tasks/duties, conduct on–the-job training, develop associates’ skills and encourage growth, prepare disciplinary write-ups as appropriate, prepare and conduct performance reviews and make recommendations for salary adjustments, approve timecards for 5+ FTEs and other duties associated with managing a staff
- Source and grow portfolio loans, government loans, HELOCs (Home Equity Line of Credit), and loans sold in secondary market
- Meet objectives within Home Loan Origination line of business including execution of policies, procedures and guidelines, Realtor/referral relationship management, compliance and fair lending
- Perform a variety of tasks directed at generating new business and servicing the needs of existing customers
- Identify and participate in Builder and Realtor activities as a source of soliciting and maintaining existing and new customers
- Ensure completion of pre-underwriting on loan files to comply with Freddie Mac guidelines, Mortgage Insurance guidelines or specific product requirements and bank specific details
- Establish and maintain effective, professional business relationships with internal and external customers
- Promote lending initiatives and maintain lending performance and production goals for the defined region
- Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks
- Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards

EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
6+ years retail banking/lending or mortgage underwriting required
NMLS required
SCHEDULE
Typical office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. This position is exempt and full-time. A minimum 40 hours is required per week. Responsibilities extend beyond office hours; seven days a week and evening hours are at times required. Associates will respond to internal and external stakeholders as needed to successfully progress the loan to closing. Frequent overtime may be required during peak hours.
A flexible work arrangement is available for this position. The position will require some scheduled onsite hours. Please speak to the hiring manager for more information.
