Procurement Assistant

General Scope : Solicits donations of toys and shipping costs for Kids Wish Network Programs through the use phone and correspondence. Provides warehousing assistance to the Distribution Department. Schedule is 7:00 A.M. to 5:30 Monday -Thursday.

Responsibilities:
- Solicit and cultivate new and existing donors to grow and sustain in kind donations to support Kids Wish Network programs.

- Utilize warehouse management system to accurately track and locate inventory.

- Setup and maintain new donor files, and complete department filing.

- Update and acknowledge toy donors through donation process. Send out timely thank you letters.
- Perform order picking for Wish Boxes going to children
- Load and unload trucks using small forklift, and/or pallet jack.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:
- Sales oriented out going Individual.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks (up to 50 pounds).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
- Ability to use excel spreadsheets for data entry and contact tracking.

- Ability to meet assigned productivity requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
