As a Regional Manager you will direct and lead all operation functions required to create a successful and profitable passenger transportation provider network
Responsibilities:
- Build strong divisional teams through effective recruitment, hiring, and training
- Create a quality network of drivers that meet the demands of the clients/contracts
- Monitor and manage safety regulations
- Consistently review and manage P&L, budgets, and projections
- Establish and maintain consistent operational processes and systems
- Provide proactive coaching and development to division teams
- Manage Big Star’s culture and brand level of quality of service and efficiency
- Create industry-leading client and contract management
- Seek out new business development opportunities
- Be an active voice in the growth of the organization
- Monitor and maintain client and subcontractor relationships in accordance with service agreements
- Assigns and/or reassigns service capacity upon demonstrated need or request by the client
- Develops network deployment strategies to maintain or exceed performance standards
- Performs or reviews periodic inspections of all network vehicles and provider/operators
- Resolves operational problems, accidents issues, and/or passenger complaints, including accurately reporting these problems to the authority promptly as appropriate
- Promote and represent a culture of safety, security, and sensitivity across the BST network
- Conduct coaching to staff members on all business matters; including growth conversations and proactive and reactive performance management conversations
- Manage safety and monitoring program through review of all events
- Prepare and review weekly client invoices using contractual ridership data and proprietary platforms
- Interact with the corporate network recruiter to ensure adequate contractor resources to support contract obligations
- Attend monthly client meetings to provide performance statistics and updates
- Assist in developing annual budgets
- Report monthly performance statistics and service updates to the corporate reporting structure
- Maintains Profit & Loss performance and accountability
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Technology or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Experience and Qualifications:
Required
- Minimum of five (5) years managing multiple teams/units
- Extensive background in business and management
- Advanced knowledge of Strategic Planning, Project Management
- Professionalism
- Proficient cross-cultural written and verbal communication
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, standard operating procedures, and memos to take decisive action in real time.
- Effectively present and receive information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other cross-functional groups
- Ability to maintain organization and control in an ever-changing environment
- Adaptability and flexibility working in a fast-paced setting
Technical Experience:
Required
- Intermediate experience using transportation technology
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically MS Excel
- Microsoft Teams

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
