  • Bags VIP Luggage Delivery service seamlessly transports bags from the airport to the cabin and, upon disembarkation, directly to passengers' front doors.
  • Bags Onboard Airline Check-In service allows passengers to check into their return flights while onboard, ensuring a luggage-free debarkation process and granting passengers priority debarkation.

 

TheRegional Manager, Cruise Ship Operations holds a pivotal role in overseeing our Command Center and Cruise Line Operations. 

 


 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee Bags’ VIP baggage/luggage delivery services and airline check-in operations to ensure that customers have all the requisite information to utilize our service offerings.
  • Manage a 24/7 team of Support Center Specialists, handling scheduling, distribution, and delegation of work.
  • Recruit, hire and develop new team members.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including deploying new ships offering services and managing Bags' VIP baggage/luggage delivery services.
  • Provide leadership and direction for cruise line operations, working with port and cruise line partners to develop and implement operational plans.
  • Analyze operational trends, track key metrics, and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • Build and develop relationships with cruise line partners, identify business opportunities, and gather market intelligence for cruise operations.
  • Oversee the development and attainment of regional operating plans, budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage the launch of future cruise programs, overseeing project management, training, marketing, and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Provides direct and indirect supervision of all operations staff, establishing goals and objectives, measuring performance, and ensuring an effective, customer-oriented service level is attained.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, increasing the number of active travel advisors and agencies within your assigned territory.

 


 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2-4 years of college preferred.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or management role in cruise operations is required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently.
  • 2 years of Event Management preferred.
  • Cruise Operations experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Applications Suite; Experience with Infinium/AS400 highly desirable.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills are essential.
  • Effective communication, both oral and written, and strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism.
