Regional Manager, Accounting (Remote)

• Supervise three or more base accountants.  Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and conflict resolution.
• Travel to multiple locations providing accounting, support to management and accounting representatives.
• Provides or oversees training to base accountants and management on accounting procedures and systems.
• Conducts routine audits to verify accuracy of records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.  Report audit findings to base, regional and corporate management.
• Serves as company representative at any base internal or external audits related to the accounting function.
• Assist with budget preparations.
• Compare budgeted information to actual performance and prepares reports outlining financial performance and explaining budget deviations.
• Interact and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Assist with financial and operational reporting to base, regional and corporate management.
• Involve in acquisition integration process

• Regularly required to sit, talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stand and walk.
• Read, write and fluently speak and understand the English language.
• Speak effectively before employees.
• Read, analyze and interpret common procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and business correspondence.
• Frequently required to travel to assigned Signature Flight Support locations.
• Apply math concepts to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four (4) year college or university plus five (5) years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   CPA preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills/competencies in excel and database management. Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
