Rebel Convenience Stores is seeking a results-driven and experienced Regional Loss Prevention Manager to join our dynamic team for our corporate office in Upland, CA. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the regional Loss Prevention Department , including creating schedules and monitoring the performance of Loss Prevention Techs.
- Develop and Oversee Team: Develop and oversee the Loss Prevention team to effectively safeguard company assets from losses due to theft or fraud.
- Video Surveillance: Supervise the video surveillance program for the assigned area/region.
- Internal LP Audit Program: Develop and operate an internal LP audit program for the assigned region/s.
- Employee Training and Audits: Utilize employee training and audits to prevent merchandise loss; investigate known losses and coordinate with the police on theft prosecution.
- Loss Prevention and Safety Assessments: Complete Loss Prevention and safety assessments with an emphasis on teaching and coaching, offering solutions within company policy and procedure.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Human Resources, Legal, and Field Leaders to conduct investigations, operational assessments, and create action plans addressing areas of concern.
- Internal/External Investigations: Perform internal/external investigations targeting theft/fraud activities, provide recommendations, and facilitate employment recommendations.
- Hiring and Training: Hire and train new LP personnel; conduct or participate in interviews and investigations with a goal of reducing/eliminating loss to the Company.
- Shrink Reduction: Implement strategies to reduce shrink and controllable losses, ensuring the safety and physical security of stores.
- Physical Security Controls: Manage and maintain physical security controls and systems in all assigned locations (CCTV, MPS, Alarms, and EAS systems).
- Legal Representation: Represent the company in any business-related legal activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's/Associates Degree preferred or High School graduate/equivalent; or equivalent combination of experience and education in Security Administration, Law Enforcement, or military background.
- 3-5 years in Loss Prevention.
- 2-3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
- Knowledge of LP Technology (CCTV, Burglary Alarm Systems, EAS) required.
- Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project) required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Some travel in the assigned area/region will be required.
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor, especially in sensitive situations.
- Experience in Loss Prevention in increasing levels of leadership.
- Proven record of success in an ever-increasing Loss Prevention role and environment.
- Comprehensive business and technical knowledge and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Team player with a record of accomplishment of successful collaboration with business managers.
- Ability to conduct investigations on a variety of crimes (felonies to misdemeanors).
- Ability to embrace change and continuous learning.

Pay: $67,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
