- Must Over See Daytona, Hartford, PA and Virginia
- Experience with Trucking and 3PL Processes
- Implements and ensures compliance to procedures Logistics Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Ensures all training and adherence to these policies and or reports any non-conformances for correction.
- Ensures dedicated carrier selection for optimal efficiency, proper carrier communication and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Point of contact for carriers, and proactively follows up regularly to build relationships.
- Ensures and properly manages all documentation and reports. Insure all are processed in a timely manner for reporting or billing.
- Documentation of comments, communication and follow-up via email and telephone to ensure the carrier performance meets the customer expectations.
- Will work closely with all operations managers and General Manager to continually improve processes, carrier selection and services.
- Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company.
- Will evaluate and measure employee and operations performance and help develop to meet expectations.
- Will participate in meetings and will be expected to extend work week and hours as needed. Holiday needs, customer needs are to be managed to not impact daily customer needs.
