Description
NRG Media seeks a Regional Engineer to lead and manage all technical matters for its radio stations and their digital delivery systems in Eastern Iowa, while working on special projects in other markets throughout the Midwest.
Hiawatha, IA will be home base. As the Regional Engineer for Waterloo-Cedar Rapids, you will assist other markets on an as-needed basis. If you have good people/communication skills and have great technical skills while being detail oriented, we want to talk to you!
Responsibilities include:
Transmitters/STL/ RF Equipment
Studio Satellite receive & Remote Equipment
NexGen, Streaming & Audio-IT systems
Create or supervise, Required FCC EAS logging & station inspections
Assist in researching and developing CapEx projects
This position also includes working in other NRG markets on special projects, as directed, for CapEx installation and/or emergency maintenance. Projects include
Installation of Burk Remote control systems
Installation of Wheatnet consoles
Installation of new transmitters
Building studios/consolidation
Projects as directed by Director of Engineering

Requirements
We are seeking an individual who has 5 years' experience as a broadcast engineer, or RF-related technician, and prefer candidates with RF & IT installation and troubleshooting experience.
This position involves regional travel at least 25% time.
