GENERAL STATEMENT OF POSITION:
Under limited supervision, is responsible for all aspects of clinical services at the regional level. This will include care plans, training, and assessment oversight.
This position will oversee locations in multiple states
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Assists in hiring and orientation for new Clinical Service Directors
- Evaluates and oversees CO/CA/MN/WA Anthem Communities Quality Improvement process and makes recommendations for improvement as necessary
- Provides clinical guidance and direction to assigned community Clinical Services Directors
- Provides in-services and dementia-specific training for Anthem Communities
- Facilitates resident care communication standards as directed by the National VP of Clinical Services
- Provides guidance and oversight of electronic reporting systems, occurrence and situational reporting and risk management practices
- Communicates any resident care policies and protocol needs to National VP of Clinical Services
- Maintains current knowledge of state and local regulations, ensuring community compliance
- Provides clinical oversight and direction for assigned community related to clinical documentation compliance
- Trains and supports Clinical Services Directors and nurses on Eldermark to ensure documentation compliance
- Conducts quarterly, and as needed, clinical audits for each community to ensure regulatory compliance
- Responds to clinical emergencies as needed
- Provides direct resident care and support to assigned communities when emergency staffing needs occur
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Maintains current and unencumbered Registered Nursing license in the USA. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a geriatric nursing setting or other related nursing experience; a minimum of three years of experience in a management/supervisory position; a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Proficient in CDPHE and Microsoft suite of software products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint software
CERTIFICATION AND CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Criminal background check
- Health screening and TB/CXR
- Valid driver’s license

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
