Regional Director of Food Service - LTC - New Jersey, New York, Connecticut
**Salary: $90K per year (depending on experience)**
The ideal candidate must be willing to travel and have at least three years of experience in long term care. Candidate will travel to and oversee three facilities in South New Jersey, two in North New Jersey, three in Long Island, NY, two in Brooklyn, NY, one in Upstate New York and one in Connecticut.
Requirements:
- Must have at least three years of experience in long term care
- Must have experience in Menu PPD and Ordering PPDs
- Ability to develop and implement standardized menus to meet nutritional requirements and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Must be able to calculate and analyze Menu PPD (Per Patient Day) and Ordering PPDs to optimize food purchasing and minimize waste.
- Must be willing to travel
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day activities and personnel within your service areas.
- Oversee Food Service operations at 12 facilities across multiple locations.
- Coordinate overall adherence to sanitation regulations/practices of Food Services.
- Set up and maintain kitchen operations and menus, including preparing and delivering meals.
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise and develop Food Service staff.
- Provide guidance and support to facility Food Service teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Purchase all food, Food Service supplies and equipment, and account for and track expenses.
