Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Be the driving force behind the strategic sales initiatives in your territory, creating comprehensive solutions that address the evolving needs of the bakery industry. Take charge of the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closure, and ensure that your efforts are aligned with the company's goals and focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Innovative Solution Development: Collaborate closely with clients to gain an in-depth understanding of their unique challenges. Then, leverage our client's cutting-edge technology and services to create customized solutions that deliver real results. Emphasize a consultative approach to build trust and foster long-term partnerships with our clients.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Advanced Educational and Professional Background: The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree and have more than four years of extensive experience in sales. This experience should include direct involvement with capital equipment, packaging materials, or other related goods within the bakery sector. An engineering degree or a related technical education would be highly advantageous.
  • Proven Sales and Industry Expertise: The successful candidate must have a track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive landscape. They should have a strong understanding of both traditional and automated bakery production processes.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal and Analytical Skills: Excellent communication abilities are essential, including the capacity to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Additionally, strong analytical skills are required to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: The candidate should have a solid technical and mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with our client's bakery capital equipment would be preferred. Experience with CRM tools and AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Adaptability and Commitment: The candidate must be willing to travel extensively (up to 80%) to meet business needs. This position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel.
  • Residence Proximity: Candidates must reside within a maximum one-hour commute of a major airport.
  • Other: This position requires a valid driver's license. Additionally, the candidate must be able to obtain a passport for international travel.

This role does not entail supervisory responsibilities but does require the associate to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and occasional loud noise levels may occur.
