The Regional Account Manager (RAM) will manage client relationships and sales for key accounts, within an assigned region, while developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans for the same. The RAM will identify opportunities to drive increased sales volume with these key retail business partners.
This is the North East region which will include the following states: CT, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions
External:
- Build trusting and professional relationships with business partners
- Develop sales initiatives – achieving long and short-term customer objectives
- Execute strategic goals for key accounts within assign region
- Provide direction for annual line reviews, based on customer needs
- Identify and promote new account leads and opportunities
- Manage daily customer communication
- Attend trade shows and other events aimed at increasing buyer awareness and knowledge of products
Internal:
- Communicate industry and competitor developments impacting accounts
- Recommend adjustments to product assortments
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales expectations
- Prepare reports that monitor, analyze and forecast sales activity and trends
- Manage all aspects of assigned accounts
Preferences
- Experience working with the specified independent dealer channel and/or region
- 5+ years of buying / management experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business management, or related field
- Perform effectively in high-pressure environment & demonstrate excellent problem solving / decision making skills
