You know you’re exceptional at sales and have the GRIT, determination, and heart of an athlete. You have many skills, competencies and traits including:
- You have a proven track record of consistently exceeding the sales budget: by growing existing accounts and adding new accounts.
- You have developed and executed customer sales plans which have been accepted by your customers and implemented.
- You excel at managing, training, doing demos and working in the field with distributors and their salespeople.
- You have strong consultative selling skills, excellent listening skills, problem solving skills, understanding it is all about the customer, the relationship and business building.
- You are experienced and comfortable calling on and talking with Business owners, Sales Managers, and end users, including Plant Managers and Maintenance Managers.
- You have sold to and through distributors and have a systematic methodology for increasing revenue share and creating staying power at multiple distributor locations.
- You can effectively manage your territory remotely from your “at home office” as you can work independently, are a self-starter & personally motivated, and are accountable to your goals.
- You possess a strong sense of urgency as you are a mastery of time management, priorities, and persistence.
- You are experienced in traveling about 30% overnight in your territory, as needed.
- You excel at setting appointments both with new prospects and current accounts you manage.
- You are memorable, as you are experienced in providing leadership and direction to your customers and their sales teams and provide not only product information, but also process and methods for selling and generating more business.
- You have been professionally trained in Solution selling, consultative selling or similar, current methodologies and continue to enhance your personal development.

As we are growing, we need an additional sales professional in Michigan and Northern Ohio to reach out and manage existing accounts and to connect and open new accounts in the territory.
Just a couple of the “Must Haves” of The Sales Professional who will help us continue to create success has the following:
- Reside in the greater Detroit area.
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the month scheduling full days with Prospects and Existing accounts.
- Must be able to develop territory sales plans by account, develop a predictable sales pipeline and record all activity daily in the CRM.
- Must be able to conduct effective group presentations and demos of our products.
- Must be able to effectively communicate internally with our support team including customer service, pricing coordinator, R&D and management.
As the Nuance Solutions Regional Account Manager, you’ll receive an extremely competitive base salary, commission plan, and a benefit package which includes 401k, medical, dental, vision, HSA, and continuing education reimbursement.
