Field Services Group – South Region
Bring your leadership skills to our dedicated DMV team! The South Region Manger oversees operations for nine field offices. In this role, you will become part of the Field Services Management Team and help ensure efficient operations and high-quality customer service throughout the region.
A day in the life:
- Serve as a principal member of the Field Services Management Team by collaborating with peer managers to cultivate a consistent statewide approach to office operations.
- Formulate and implement long and short-range plans for meeting service delivery goals and performance measures for DMV’s South Region.
- Effectively plan, support and carry out projects affecting DMV field offices.
- Manage and recommend program, policy, procedure and law changes.
- Seek community support for DMV programs by establishing and maintaining effective relationships.
- Analyze operational costs and oversee development and management of regional budget.
- Prioritize diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging to ensure all customers have access to services.
- Prioritize diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in all personnel decisions to align with ODOT and DMV values.
- Assure safe working conditions are provided to employees within the region.
- Direct activities and provide leadership to the customer service managers and other team members.
- Work is primarily performed in a typical office environment. Frequent travel between offices required, sometimes overnight. Hybrid work options may be available.

Two years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Special qualifications: Driving is an essential function of this position. You must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s). Your license does not have to be issued in Oregon to be considered.
