We're seeking a dynamic Refugee Case Manager- Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA)to help our participants achieve their dreams and aspirations. Get ready to make a real impact in people's lives. The home office is located in Madison, WI.

This position serves as the primary case manager and coordinator of Refugee services, to include the Refugee Cash assistance (RCA) program and the and the Wilson Fish Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Coordination Program (WFTCP). This position will work in concert with other W-2 FEPs to determine potential candidates for Refugee programs. This position will determine eligibility for Refugees and be responsible for assessment, planning, job search, job development, and job placement of refugee customers. This position will also carry a reduced W-2 caseload (FEP) as determined by local leadership. Additional duties include making referrals to other service providers, providing supportive services as applicable, and working with employers on behalf of the Refugee and W-2 clients. This position is responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all participants, quality assurance, and case maintenance.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Responsible for determining eligibility for W-2 RCA, WFTCP and related services.
  • Responsible for learning and utilizing Language Services to assist refugees that do not speak English.
  • Responsible for working with partner Refugee agencies to enroll new refugees and provide meaningful resources for refugees in need.
  • Responsible for utilizing the Transition to Success (TTS) case management framework to guide refugees toward meeting their dreams.
  • Responsible for assisting already employed customers in finding job upgrades that will lead to a growth in income for the client and his/her family.
  • Responsible for updating and submitting Refugee and W-2 reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Responsible for case management and maintenance of clients and program records.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining employer relations, community awareness and partnerships.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Associates degree and two plus years work-related experience and/or equivalent combination or education and experience.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • We believe in investing in our team members' growth. FSC offers a very competitive wage for this full-time, non-exempt position with a minimum starting rate of $23.02/hour with additional compensation based on direct experience beyond the minimum requirements.
  1. Example: Meet only minimum requirements start at $23.02/hour; with 3 additional years of direct experience start at $23.75/hour; 5 additional years of direct experience $24.50/hour, etc.
    1. Once you complete Financial Education Planner (FEP) training then you will receive a $1.00 more an hour.
