Job description

This limited term position may be extended up to 24 months and has the possibility of becoming permanent.
Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I in the Patient Management Unit's (PMU) Pre-Trial Programs Case Management team, the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and appropriate treatment for each patients' individual needs. The incumbent will assist with monitoring the census as well as sending patient referrals over to their assigned Community Inpatient Facilities (CIF), and Community Based Restoration (CBR) programs to build strong collaborative relationships that will ultimately lead to the identification and resolution of any treatment, transportation, and/or communication barriers.
This role requires impeccable customer service, strong analytical skills, and consistently providing courteous and professional coordination with county partners, DSH staff across facilities, contractors, and external stakeholders. Incumbent should have intermediate skill with Microsoft Excel.

Working Conditions

  • DSH-Sacramento is located at a new 11 floor high rise building.
  • Up to 75% of the essential functions of this position may be performed via telework and/or flexible scheduling in accordance with DSH PD 5338. Although the ability may be granted, incumbent must be available to report to in-person mandated trainings and essential meetings.
  • Up to 5% travel is required.
