Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time, onsite Reel Repair Technician to join our in-house Tackle Repair Team in Anchorage, AK. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, inspect reels for damage and repairs, and reassemble in a timely manner.
• Clean and repair reels per factory specifications.
• Safely use and maintain tools, including power tools and handling of liquids.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspace.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication.
• Meticulous record keeping skills and the ability to multitask.
• Update customers on progress and repair needs in a timely manner.
• Assist with other tasks during slower periods as requested or needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a service technician or similar role.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as well as receive feedback from others.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent record keeping habits.
• Excellent follow-through and customer follow up skills.
• Willingness to work weekends as/when necessary.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience: Previous experience as a Reel Technician a bonus
