NOW HIRING: Recreation Therapist

Responsibilitiesof a Recreation Therapist:

• Conduct assessments to identify residents' leisure interests and individual needs.
• Develop and implement therapeutic recreational programs tailored to residents' abilities and preferences.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate recreation therapy into residents' care plans.
• Lead group activities, outings, and special events to encourage socialization and community engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of residents' progress and participation in recreational activities.

Qualificationsof a Recreation Therapist:

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field.
• Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required.
• Experience working in a nursing home or long-term care setting preferred.
