Our inpatient mental health facility in Marion, Montana offers residential treatment perfect for adolescents and teens struggling with behavioral health issues. Our program’s 500-acre ranch in the breathtaking mountains of Montana provides a peaceful, serene setting for outdoor therapeutic activities.
Our ideal candidate has a passion for the outdoors and is excited to make a profound impact on the lives of young people and their families.
- Excited to organize, implement, and evaluate therapeutic activities, fitness, and adventure activities, day trips, teambuilding, and leisure activities.
- Able to lead a team of Life Coaches to facilitate programming and activities.
- Willing to collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the integration of recreational therapy into the overall treatment plan.
- Committed to guiding, supporting, and supervising clients during recreational activities, promoting emotional regulation and healthy coping skills.
- Dedicated to experiential education and relationship development within the outdoor community.
- Able to leverage excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and build relationships with students and their families.
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy or a related field.
- Certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
- Previous experience working in a residential treatment center, youth camp, wilderness setting, or therapeutic setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the therapeutic recreation principles and practices.
- Ability to assess clients’ needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Ability to obtain a current State of Montana Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a State and Federal Background Check.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- Must be 21+ years of age or older.

- Competitive salary range of $48,000-$65,000/yr.
