Southlake's Adaptive Recreation programs provide recreation and leisure opportunities to teen and adult persons with physical/mental disabilities. Our service philosophy is to encourage people of all abilities to engage in a more active lifestyle through community recreation. Our goal is to provide positive recreation and leisure experiences through adapted, inclusive, and community integration programs.
TheRecreation Specialistposition is responsible forfacilitating Adaptive Recreation programs and events by setting up, mingling with participants, and making sure everyone is having a fun time! This includes monitoring the group while on field trips to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all the participants.
