- Provide support and guidance to individuals in recovery from substance abuse or mental health disorders
- Assist clients in setting and achieving recovery goals
- Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and physicians, to coordinate care for clients
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide crisis intervention and support during times of acute distress
- Teach coping skills and strategies for relapse prevention
- Assist with medication administration and management, as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and documentation
- Collect data on client outcomes and program effectiveness
```Experience```
- Previous experience in detox, substance abuse treatment, childcare, social work, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with file management and data collection processes
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols
- Strong skills in behavior management, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution
- Experience in case management or behavioral health services is a plus
