A LITTLE ABOUT US

Founded in 2009, Granite Pathways began as a grass-roots initiative that introduced the "clubhouse" model in New Hampshire. The clubhouse represents an evidence-based, self-help community aimed at eliminating isolation and providing hope, dignity, and recovery options for adults with mental illness. Today, we are a statewide, multi-faceted organization that provides an array of services for those struggling with mental health issues or substance use disorders. Our mission is to help individuals achieve their life goals and see themselves as valued members of their community.

Our services are only as effective as the quality of the people who make up our team. To achieve our mission, we strive to attract and retain talented and committed staff who believe in our cause. This is why we provide competitive compensation, great benefits, and plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECOVERY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST

As a Recovery Employment Specialist at our human service nonprofit, you play a vital role in cultivating new business lines and managing existing partnerships with SUD (substance use disorder) treatment providers. You get to assess client needs and formulate a comprehensive service plan that can make a real difference in their life. You have the opportunity to offer support through motivational interviewing techniques that can help individuals realize their full potential. You also get to work with community partners to provide outreach and resources for peers, making a positive impact on the community.

Providing in-person and telephonic employment and recovery support to individuals in multiple settings, including correctional facilities, is also part of your job. You may need to travel and reach out to sober homes, recovery-friendly workplaces, and PHP/IOP partners as needed, which can be an exciting adventure. You also get to attend partner project seminars, information sessions, collaborative sessions, and job fairs, which can be an excellent opportunity to learn and grow. It is essential to understand and maintain confidentiality in compliance with all relevant state and federal requirements. Are you ready to take the first step in an exciting career with a customer-focused nonprofit organization? Apply to join our workforce development team today!
