DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in SAVs with OSD Component RIM Programs to assist Components in improving compliance with RIM laws and regulations
- Assist in the development of assistance strategies for OSD Components in in coordination with RIM
Evaluation Team, OSD Component Records Management Officers (CRMOs), and RDD managers
- Develop training materials, templates, and fact sheets for distribution throughout the OSD; go over trainings and training materials with OSD Components during SAVs
- After each SAV, draft a report that summarizes assistance actions and provides recommendations to ensure further compliance
- Demonstrate proficiency in full life cycle records management, file plan creation and maintenance, applying records disposition schedules, and e-mail management
- Demonstrate proficiency in scheduling unscheduled federal records
- Recommend strategies and participate in agency planning, goal setting, and development of policies and standard operating procedures
- Ensure records creation, maintenance, use, and disposition are in accordance with federal guidelines
- Provide recommendations on records formats, uniform naming conventions, and storage methods
- Provide client targeted office assistance on an as needed basis
- Assist in additional records management tasks in support or OSD RDD as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Security Clearance: Top Secret is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in information management related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Related experience and familiarity of laws, regulations, and guidance that govern records in the federal government
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills, research skills, reading comprehension, and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with team members and work independently to identify and create solutions for issues surrounding program management

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
