Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Route incoming calls, in a fast paced, high call volume environment to the business units/individual with accuracy and efficiency.
- Greet and assist visitors arriving in reception area.
- Coordinates with team members to ensure proper coverage of the reception area.
- Handle all calls and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Issue temporary access cards to existing employees as needed, record on the temporary card log and ensure all temporary cards issued are returned.
- Assist with the sorting and distribution of high-volume mail and route to the different departments.
- Assist with research of statements, checks and deposits.
- Alert management of any issues with phone lines or call routing to ensure timely resolution.
- Alert management of any call trends that may indicate issues impacting customer experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate a professional manner and tone.
- Knowledge of departments function within the bank to accurately direct calls.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Required Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of telephone operator experience.
- Minimum 2 years of telephone operator experience preferred.
