Points Consider before you apply
- VetCheck plays a crucial role in the Community by helping pets and pet parents with non-critical after hour emergencies. Our hours of operation are Mon-Fri 9:00am-11:00pm, Sat 9:00am-8:00pm, Sun 9:00am-6:00pm. You are required to work alternative weekend shifts.
- You get to experience fast-paced, non-critical emergency care without working overnights.
- Our staff is highly engaged, collaborative and maintains a positive attitude. We work together to find solutions and make decisions based off what's best for each other and the hospital. A majority of our staff has been with VetCheck since the very beginning! We maintain a support staff ratio of 4-5 techs per DVM to limit burn out, compassion fatigue, and the overall stress of veterinary medicine.
- It's not our job to take care of pets, it is our responsibility.
- VetCheck leadership advocates for our staff by supporting and assisting during difficult situations. We have a "No Tolerance Policy" meaning VetCheck will terminate the relationship with a client for any inexcusable behavior towards staff members.
