Receptionist/Salon Assistant

Shear Quality Pet Grooming is looking to add a friendly receptionist/grooming assistant to our team. Looking for someone who can stay focused on a task and quickly get it done so that they will be ready to help with the next task when needed. Position duties include, but not limited too. Greeting human and pet clients. Ability to approach and handle dogs and cats of all sizes is a must. Completing and maintaining the accuracy of client and pet history information on the computer and hard copies. Checking in/out clients, receiving payments and scheduling appointments. Handle all incoming and outgoing phone calls. A knowledge of different dog breeds is a plus. Ability to learn proper bathing and drying procedures. Assist in holding difficult/old/scared pets while being groomed. Receptionist/grooming assistant will also be responsible for cleaning the shop, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning up pet’s accidents.

Our hours are 8:50am to 5/5:30pm Tuesday through Friday and every other Monday and Saturday.

Pay starts at $13 an hour and can go up once you learn the job duties and are able to help with other tasks.
