Receptionist/Eyewear Sales

The position is full time at approximately 25 hours per week. No weekends or late nights required and Fridays are half days. Required hours: 9:45AM-6PM Mon/Tues/Thurs, and 9:45-2pm on Fridays. Enjoy work-life balance!

The person hired for this position will be responsible for receptionist duties (answering phone calls, checking patients in and out, insurance verification, etc.) and selling eyewear including glasses and contact lenses. All employees are cross trained.

Other duties include:

Providing exceptional customer service including ability to de-escalate situations when customers are upset

Trouble shooting problems with glasses, adjusting and repairing glasses

Verifying insurance, filing insurance claims to vision insurance plans

Cross training to learn other office roles

Individuals with previous optical, retail, or service industry experience are preferred. This position provides a great work environment with no late night or weekend shifts.
