Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry/Receptionist. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining various types of data into our computerized systems. This is a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data.
Responsibilities:
- Enter data into databases, spreadsheets, and other computerized systems
- Verify accuracy and completeness of data entries
- Create and update records as needed
- Perform regular data backups to ensure data security
- Retrieve and process information from databases as requested
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist with basic math calculations as necessary
- File and organize physical and electronic documents
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables and perform basic functions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of speed and accuracy
- Familiarity with databases and data entry processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, etc.
