Receptionist/Client Services

Salary: $16-20/hour, DOE

JOB SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage incoming calls daily.
• Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Accurately complete data entry of Medical Claims.
• Assist the Claims Analyst/Negotiations Team as needed.
• Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related results and assisting the Client Service team as needed.
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
• Work with the Director, Claims Operation to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA protocol at all times..
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pleasant telephone voice with excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to learn new tasks and concepts quickly.
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to multi-task (and be detail-oriented while doing so.)
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills

 

PREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED):

• 1-2 years healthcare customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of commonly used medical terminology.
• General knowledge of healthcare claims and reimbursement process.
