JOB SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage incoming calls daily.
- Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Accurately complete data entry of Medical Claims.
- Assist the Claims Analyst/Negotiations Team as needed.
- Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related results and assisting the Client Service team as needed.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Work with the Director, Claims Operation to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA protocol at all times..
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pleasant telephone voice with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to learn new tasks and concepts quickly.
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to multi-task (and be detail-oriented while doing so.)
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
PREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED):
- 1-2 years healthcare customer service experience.
- Basic knowledge of commonly used medical terminology.
- General knowledge of healthcare claims and reimbursement process.
