Our Receptionist has the critical responsibility to initiate a spectacular experience for our clients. This role is our communications hub, and will give the right candidate the opportunity to represent our team in their interactions with our clients, interface with every member of our team, and work in an environment where your contributions are valued and appreciated.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and urgency, setting a warm, positive tone for our clients' interactions with us.
- Greet and assist visitors arriving in the office, referring them to the appropriate person or department.
- Distribute documents accurately and efficiently including faxes, email, and mail using our agency management system.
- Process and document client payments through our agency management system
- Support Insurance teams by assisting with distribution of client documents, accurate documentation of client information, and direct assistance to clients with administrative items.
- Support Claims team with entry of loss data, updating open claims, and fielding claims calls during periods of high claims volume.
- Order office supplies and other common use items.
- Assist with scheduling and preparing meeting rooms and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must have experience with Microsoft Office and be able to learn our agency management system. Prior front desk, customer service, or other hospitality experience preferred. Strong consideration will be given to applicants with a Pennsylvania insurance license, experience with Applied Epic, and a property and casualty insurance background.
